Trongsa Ta Dzong
The protector of the Trongsa Dzong, Trongsa Ta Dzong is a watchtower that is seated on a promontory that overlooks the entire town of Trongsa. Safeguarding the dzong from any probable uprising revolt from inside, this watchtower was built by Chogyal Minjur Tempa in 1652.
Trongsa Ta Dzong has a total of four observation points that are called as Tiger, Lion, Dragon, and Garuda. It also has a shrine of the Bhutanese epic hero King Gesar of Ling and a museum that is touted as one of the most impressive museums in the entire of Bhutan.
