A six-hour scenic drive from Delhi will take you to one of the holy lands of India, Haridwar. This hill town caters to the needs of all, be it nature enthusiasts, spirituality seeks or even adventure lovers.

The road trip will have you surrounded by varieties of rhododendron, deodar trees and also colourfully delicate butterflies.

Upon reaching the hotel in Haridwar, check-in and relax. In the evening, you can head out to visit the Mansa Devi Temple. Located atop the Bilwa mountain, the temple is dedicated to Mansa Devi, who is a form of Shakti.

Upon arrival in Uttarkashi, check into the hotel. Then, head out to visit the two most popular temples – Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Shakti Temple.

Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Kashi Vishwanath Temple is set on the western bank of the hallowed river Ganga. It is one among the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. It has been demolished and re-constructed several times since its construction. The Shakti temple is a renowned religious centre that stands opposite to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. It is known for its trishul or trident that is 6 meters high.

After visiting all the local sightseeing places in Uttarkashi, return back to the hotel for a peaceful overnight stay.

The third day shall be a long one and will require all your strength and enthusiasm. So, start your morning with a scrumptious breakfast and head out for a long drive to Gangotri. The temperature always remains pleasant even in summers which will make the journey even more amazing. Enroute, halt at Gangnani. Take a holy dip in Garam Kund- a natural sulphur hot water spring.

Then, continue to drive to Gangotri via the beautiful Harsil Valley. It is known as the Mini Switzerland of India and is a well-preserved gem of Uttarakhand. It is surrounded by snow-clad mountains, gorgeous streams and pine forests.

On arrival at Shree Gangotri, check in at the hotel and head straight to take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges. Visit the temple which is the highest temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It is a place of absolute divinity and serenity. Partake in the spiritual rituals and evening aarti and bask in the beauty of nature that surrounds the temple.

Later, drive back to Uttarkashi and spend the overnight in the cosiness of the hotel room.

Yet another fun-filled day awaits you. Wake up early, have breakfast and check out from the hotel in Uttarkashi to embark on a scenic drive to Haridwar. On your way, take a halt at Rishikesh.

The Yoga Capital of the World, Rishikesh has everything to meet the needs of those who seek spirituality and serenity both. Visit the famous attractions such as the ancient temples, ashrams and especially the Lakshman Jhula. It is a famous 5 kilometres long hanging bridge laid across the river Ganga. People say that Lord Lakshman had crossed the river at this very site.

Continue driving to Haridwar then after. On arrival, check in at the hotel and indulge in some delicious local delicacy. Spend the overnight at the hotel in Haridwar.
