Build up your excitement on this first day as you will board the helicopter from the Sahastradhara helipad in Dehradun. Start your day early and finish having breakfast as the boarding time is 7.a.m. It is the starting and ending point of this tour and transfers from Dehradun airport, train station or hotel will be arranged for as per your scheduled arrivals. The helicopter ride will take approximately 30 minutes to get you to the Kharsali helipad in Yamunotri. Our pilots and ground staff will give you a detailed brief about the do and don’ts on the entire trip.
Be welcomed by Heritage Aviation at the Kharsali helipad and the ground staff will assist you in unloading your baggage and carrying it to your hotel. Once you check in and freshen up, head to visit the Yamunotri temple.
A short 6 km trek needs to be covered which you can also do in a palanquin. Set at a hovering altitude of 3293 meters, the ancient temple of Yamunotri, the temple is built at the origin point of the majestic River Yamuna. Enjoy the unparalleled vistas of nature and trek back down to make your way to the hotel.
Rest for a bit and in the evening, head to the Shani Temple. It is presumed to be the oldest temple of Shani Dev set at 7,000 feet above sea level.
Retire for the night and spend your time in the comfort of the hotel room.
On the third day of your Chardham Yatra package by Helicopter, start your day early and have a healthy breakfast. Then, check out from the hotel in Yamunotri and transfers to the Yamunotri helipad will be arranged for. Take a scenic ride over this holy city and make your way to arrive at the Harsil valley helipad.
Also known as mini Switzerland, Harsil valley is one of India’s most picturesque valley. It is an unspoiled and hidden jewel and you get to experience all of its offerings first-hand on this trip. A short one hour drive from here will take you to Gangotri. First, go for a dip in the hallowed waters of River Ganga. Legends say that Goddess Ganga transformed herself into a water stream to dissolve King Bhagirath’s forefathers sins.
Spend the rest of the evening sightseeing enjoy an amazing bonfire night under the skies. Return back to the hotel Harsil valley and spend a comfortable overnight there.
Let the excitement stir up in you as you will be praying to one of the highest jyotirlingas today in Kedarnath. After having breakfast, check out from the hotel in Harsil valley and report to the helipad at 9 a.m. A 30-minute flight and you will arrive at the helipad in Kedarnath. It is flanked by shimmering snow-capped peaks and the weather is almost always chilly.
The temple is enveloped in the mighty Garhwal Himalayas and is 15 minutes away from the helipad. The zeal of devotees to get a single glimpse of the lingam and the sound of prayers reverberating makes for an unmatched experience.
In the evening, you can also visit the ancient temples of Triyuginarayan and Kalimath Mandir. The Triyuginarayan temple offers panoramic views of Himalayan mountain ranges and the architecture resembles to that of the Badrinath shrine. The Kalimath Mandir is set on the banks of Saraswati river.
Later, head to the hotel booked in Guptkashi for an overnight stay.
The second last day of the Chardham yatra by helicopter is here. After having breakfast, check out from the hotel in Guptkashi and report at the Sersi helipad at 10 a.m. in 45 minutes, the chopper will take you to the Badrinath Helipad. To view both these towns from miles above will take your breath away.
As you land, head to the hotel and relax for a while. In the evening, head to the temple. Dedicated to the preserver, Lord Vishnu, is a land of myriad legends and the Maha Abhishek Pooja is one of the major highlights of the trip. Then, explore the mana village. It is the last Indian village before India and Tibet border. River Saraswati flows through the town making it extremely scenic and charming.
After all the sightseeing activities, return to the hotel in Badrinath for the night.
