Itinerary
Meet our representative downstairs at the hotel lobby once you have had your breakfast. He will assist you with check out procedures and you will start your drive for Barkot. It is a place that is yet not commercialised and untouched by tourists. The road trip will have you surrounded by varieties of rhododendron, deodar trees and also colourfully fragile butterflies.
The route to Barkot from Haridwar will take you via the queen of hills- the city of Mussoorie. Visit its two major sightseeing spots- the Mussoorie Lake and Kempty Falls. The lake is a man-made lake from where you can enjoy mesmerizing views of the Doon Valley. There are pedalled boat rides as well that you can enjoy. The Kempty Falls is yet another awe-inspiring picnic spot that is surrounded by high mountain ranges. Several shops around sell fancy trinkets and lip-smacking local food.
Then, continue your drive to Barkot and upon arrival, check into the hotel to have dinner and spend the overnight.
On this day you will yet again start your day early and have a filling breakfast. Meet our representative then who will arrange the transfers from the hotel to Jankichatti or Phoolchatti. This is the starting point of the trek to Yamunotri. It is only a 6 km trek and hence, can easily be covered on foot. If you wish, you can also choose to ride the palanquin.
Once you make it to the top, take a quick bath in Jamunabai Kund’s warm water. There are other thermal springs that flow into different pools as well if you wish to explore, however, the most significant one is the Surya Kund.
Then pray your respects at the Divya Shila. It is a religious rock pillar. Finally, head to the ancient temple of Yamunotri which is built at the origin point of the majestic and hallowed River Yamuna. After the rituals at the temple, head back to Jankichatti / Phoolchatti and from there, transfers to the hotel will be arranged for.

This day of your trip starts with a filling breakfast at the hotel in Barkot followed by checking out from the hotel. Meet our representative then and start driving down to the mystic town of Uttarkashi.
When you reach there, check in at the hotel and head out for some sightseeing. The popular Kashi Vishwanath Temple is a sight for sore eyes. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this religious establishment was built in the 18th century where the shivling is 56 centimetres tall. You must also take time out to head to the Shakti temple. It is situated in front of the Kashi Vishwanath temple. The main attraction here is a 26- foot-long Trident. It is said that the Hindu Goddess Durga used this to kill demons.
After a fun day, head to the hotel in Uttarkashi to spend the overnight.
Have a stomach filling breakfast once you have woken up. Complete the check-out procedures at the hotel in Uttarkashi and hop in the car to drive to Gangotri. On your way, you will travel via the mesmerising Harsil valley. It offers ample scope for people who seek to get close to nature.
On arrival at Shree Gangotri, head to take a holy dip in the sacred Ganga waters. It is a revered site as legends say it was here that Lord Shiva had released the enormous river from the locks of his hair and that is how Goddess Ganga descended. In the day, take some time to explore the surrounding beauty and finally make your way towards Bhojbasa via Chirbasa. The trek route is laid along the roaring Bhagirathi River and it is extremely picturesque.
Upon arrival in Bhojwassa, enjoy a campsite stay with a delicious dinner meal and spend the overnight comfortably.
Today on this day of your Chardham Yatra Package with Gaumukh and Kedarnath Night from Haridwar you have to undertake a moderate trek to Gaumukh. One can only imagine the beauty of the second-largest glacier in India, after Siachen. So, after devouring some delicious breakfast set out on a day’s excursion in the high mountains. The route is exciting with the river flowing on one end and the sun shining over Bhagirathi group of peaks. The Gangotri glacier is traditionally believed to be the mouth of the holy river Ganga. The site is held in high esteem by the devotees and you can spend the day witnessing the glory of snowy surroundings.
In the evening, trek back to the base camp in Bhojwassa for overnight stay.
Today is a relatively relaxed day. So, once you have woken up, peacefully enjoy your breakfast meal and pack up from the campsite in Bhojbasa. You will be heading back to Uttarkashi via the same route. So, start your trek towards Gangotri. Upon reaching there, a car will be arranged to transfer you to the hotel in Uttarkashi.
Upon arrival in Uttarkashi, check in at the hotel, enjoy some local food and spend the night resting at the hotel room.
Start your day early with breakfast and finish the check-out procedures at the hotel in Uttarkashi. Hop in your car and soak in the majestic views of the mountains and Deodar trees as you make your way to Guptkashi via Moolgarh and Lambgoan. The temple town of Guptakashi is perched at an elevation of 1319 m. Because of the attitude, the weather here is always cold. It is easily accessible by road and stairs. The snow-covered peaks of Chaukhamba mountains make for a mesmerising backdrop.
Upon arrival, visit Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and the idol is half man and half women representing Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.

If you have stayed at Kedarnath and not attended the first rituals at the temple, then your trip is incomplete. So, beat the dawn and make sure you are at the temple as early as 5 a.m. Partake in the morning aarti at the temple. It is also a beautiful place to do meditation.
Then, watch the sunrise over the Himalayan ranges. It is a sight that will ruin all other sunrise views you may have witnessed in your life. Once your heart is filled with natural beauty and religious zest, get back to the hotel and complete the check-out formalities.
Have breakfast and head to Gaurikund via trek. If you have chosen to ride the helicopter, then our representative will arrange for a drop to the helipad. From Gaurikund, drive to Guptkashi and check in at the hotel. Enjoy some local meal and end the day with a good night’s sleep.
Today’s day is packed with a lot of sightseeing so make sure that your day starts early with a healthy breakfast. Then wear a pair of comfortable clothes and shoes and check out from the hotel in Guptkashi. A scenic car drive will take you to the next stop- Badrinath. It is a town that makes the visitor spellbound with its matchless splendour.
Upon arrival in Badrinath, you will check in to the hotel and venture out for some quick sightseeing. First and foremost, head to the most religious spot in town- the Badrinarayan temple. There is a small ritual you will have to do before you enter the temple and that is to take a dip in the Taptkund. It is a natural thermal spring that is said to cure you of your bodily ailments and purifies the soul. Finally, make your way to the temple that is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Its presiding deity is said to be self-manifested.
Then, explore the neighbouring lands and take a feel of the local inhabitation by visiting the Mana village. It is the last settlement before the border of Tiber and China and the Indo-Mongolian tribe reside here. After that, head to see the Bhim Pul, Vasundhara waterfalls and also the Vyas Gufa. The waterfalls are a sight for sore eyes and Bhim pul is famous for its massive rocks that form a natural bridge. The sight of River Saraswati flowing underneath is not for the faint-hearted.
Lastly, the Vyas Gufa is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is said to have written the Mahabharata and the puranic commentaries.
After a fun-filled day, return back to the hotel and spend a comfortable night in Badrinath.
