As the name suggests, the shrine represents half a body of Lord Shiva and half that of goddess Parvati. It is situated on a mountain that is reachable by road and stairs.

The most awaited day is here, where you will visit one of the most revered temples in the country. Drive to Sonprayag will be arranged for from where you will drive down to Gaurikund in a local jeep. It is the starting point for the trek to Kedarnath. It is synonymous with its grand temples and ashrams that you must visit. The most iconic of all is the Lakshman Jhula- an iron suspension bridge cutting across the River Ganga.
