From high altitude lakes to Kangchenjunga- thirst highest mountains in the world, age-old Buddhist monasteries, Sikkim has a lot to offer to its tourists.
Equally fascinating is the capital of Sikkim, Gangtok which comes with its own old-world charm and attractions. It is a base for some amazing treks and a great place to capture views of snow-capped peaks of Kangchenjunga. Pelling is another gem of Sikkim gifted with plenty of natural beauty. Lachung, a mountain village of Sikkim boasts of scenic landscape, Buddhist monasteries, apple orchards, pine forests, hot springs, and waterfalls.
Darjeeling, the Queen of Hills is located in the West Bengal state of India. This Victorian town is a famous hill station of India known for its snow-capped mountains, picturesque landscapes, Buddhist monasteries, tea gardens and backdrop of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train is one of its major attractions.
Itinerary
Arrival at the NJP/Bagdogra. After a warm welcome, our representative will drive you to Gangtok (1437 m) and escort you to the hotel. Check in at the hotel. Freshen up and relax for some time. In the evening, you can go for a stroll on the MG Marg. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and then at around 8 am leave for Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft/3750 m/3 hrs drive) and Baba Harbhajan Mandir( 13,200 ft/4000 m). The drive to the Lake takes you through a mountainous landscape which makes the drive pleasant.
Tsomgo is a sacred lake that attracts tourists from far and wide. It is a high altitude lake which is soaked in pristine beauty. With different seasons it reflects different hues. During winter it gets frozen while in spring it brims with life with colourful flowers in its surroundings.
Baba Harbhajan Mandir or the shrine was built in honour of a courageous Indian soldier named Baba Harbhajan Singh. He died due to extreme weather conditions while carrying supplies to a remote post near the Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim.
After the excursion, our representative will drive you back to Gangtok. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Post breakfast, drive to Lachung (8800 ft), a mesmerizing mountain village hemmed in by snow-capped mountain peaks. It is famous for its lovely waterfalls, glistening streams, and apricot, peach and apple orchids. The Lachung Chu river passes through the middle of the village slicing it into two. En-route halt at Singhik View Point to capture amazing views of mount Silnoulchu and the fierce Seven Sisters Waterfall which offers awe-inspiring views. Take a break for lunch at Namok and later a tea break at Chungthang.
After reaching Lachung check in to the hotel. Freshen up and relax. You can also explore Lachung Gompa which dates back to 1880 and is set amidst apple orchard. You can also visit the handicraft center to buy beautifully woven blankets and rugs as souvenirs. Enjoy a delicious dinner which will be served at the hotel itself. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Leave for Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft), also called ‘The Valley of Flowers’ early in the morning. It is a gorgeous valley with sheer greenery encompassing a variety of flowers and trees. A charming river passes through this valley. The sights of yaks, goats and horses grazing in the grassy plains are sights to behold. Post lunch, drive back to Gangtok. On the way back, treat your senses with the beauty of Bheema and Twin Waterfalls. Check in to the hotel at Gangtok. Stay overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast drive to Pelling, the enchanting town located in the middle of pine forest in west Sikkim. The drive from Gangtok to Pelling is refreshing as you will pass through the tea gardens, mountains, and picturesque surroundings. At Pelling witness the unparalleled beauty of the world famous Kangchenjunga. The town also has age-old monasteries on its attraction list. Check in at the hotel in Pelling.
After a long drive of more than 5 hours you might feel tired, so take rest and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Post breakfast, visit the wonderful attractions of Pelling. Spend some time at the mesmerizing Kanchenjunga waterfalls to rejuvenate your body and mind. It is surrounded with greenery and is an ideal place to have some relaxed moments. Next on the list is Sewaro rock garden soaked in serenity and beauty. Visit Darap Valley which is a treat to the eyes. The fresh air and lovely scenery of the valley are so refreshing. Take a lunch break and then continue with the sightseeing. Now visit other attractions of Pelling- Pema Yangtse monastery, Helipad Ground, Rimbi waterfalls, Khecheopalri sacred Lake and Rabdentse Ruins. Later in the evening return to the hotel and stay overnight.
After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling, the Queen of Hills. On the journey to Darjeeling, at some places, the drive is not so smooth but it’s worth it as you will drive past lovely green gardens, gushing rivers, old bridges and traditional villages. Reach the hotel in Darjeeling, check in and stay overnight.
Start from the hotel at around 4 am to reach the magnificent Tiger Hill (2590 m) which is the highest point of Darjeeling. It offers breathtaking views of the sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. While coming back from the Hill, halt at the Batasia Loop, a spiral railway track at a beautiful location and Ghoom Monastery. Take a break for breakfast. Now continue your journey with a visit to the Japanese Temple, a Buddhist pilgrimage known for its wonderful traditional Japanese architecture. Other attractions which will be covered are Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park(closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda and Chitrey Tea Garden(outer view). In the evening enjoy a leisurely walk on the Mall Road and Chowrasta. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and our representative will drive you back to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station(NJP)/Bagdogra Airport(IXB) – Gangtok with pleasurable memories to take back home!

Itinerary
On your journey to Kalimpong, you will get the first glimpse of the mighty Himalayas
Once you reach NJP Railway station or Bagdogra airport, our representative will receive you and drop you to the hotel at Kalimpong. You can spend the night at leisure and relaxation here as there are adventures many in the upcoming days.
The 2nd day starts with an early breakfast and tour in the little town of Kalimpong.
After breakfast, you will be out for 4 hours, visiting the tourist destinations such as Deolo Hill, Durbin Dara Hill Jang, Dong Palriffo, Brang Monastry, Science City, and Pine View Cactus Nursery. After sight-seeing, you head back to the hotel for lunch. Our representative will then come and drive you to Gangtok. After checking in at the hotel, you can spend the rest of the day taking strolls in nearby streets or resting at the hotel.
On the 3rd day, you will tour across the city of Gangtok and explore the beautiful waterfalls, view-points and monasteries here!
After a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, head out for a full day Gangtok town tour. The sightseeing includes visit to Tashi view-point, Bakthang Waterfalls, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Ganesh Tok, Enchey Monastry, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom, Flower Show, Institute of Tibetology, Ropeway and Banjhakri Falls . After sightseeing, return back to the hotel, have a delicious dinner and snooze off the night.
Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir are two of the most renowned destinations in Gangtok, They are sacred places that are of religious importance to the locals here.
At 8 in the morning, our representative will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet/3750 m/3 hrs drive). Spend some time here unwinding and admiring nature’s beauty. And then you will drive further to Baba Harbhajan Mandir (13,200 feet/4000 m). Once the expedition here is over, you will drive back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
On the 5th day, you will bid goodbye to Gangtok and continue your exploration journey in Pelling.
After a filling breakfast at the hotel, our representative will pick you up and drive you to your hotel at Pelling. Spend the rest of the day in Pelling at leisure.
On the 6th day, you will get the chance to experience and explore the beautiful lakes, ruins and waterfalls of Pelling.
Once breakfast is over, you will start the day with local sightseeing which includes a visit to Darap Valley, Rock Garden, Rimbi waterfalls, Khecheopalri sacred Lake and Kanchenjunga waterfalls. Once this sightseeing session is over, indulge in some authentic ‘sikkimese’ delicacies for lunch and then continue the tour by visiting Pema Yangtse monastery, Rabdentse Ruins and Helipad Ground. After that return to the hotel for the night.
On the 7th day, Goodbye Pelling! Hello Darjeeling!
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, our representative will drive you to the hotel in Darjeeling. After checking in, spend the rest of the day exploring Mall Road and Chowrasta. Do shop for gift items, chocolates and tea leaves here. Also get your hands on the lip smacking street food here. Overnight stay at hotel.
On the 8th day, spend time exploring the different monasteries, tea estates and science city in Darjeeling. At every stop, make it a point to grab a hot cup of tea as tea here is heavenly.
Wake up at 4am and head to Tiger hill which is 2590 m above sea level. From here you can get the spectacular view of Mt Kanchenjunga, the 3rd highest peak in the world. On your way back, visit the Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastry. After this, head back to the hotel for sumptuous breakfast and spend the day visiting the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Chitrey Tea Garden(outer view), Japanese Temple, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park(closed on Thursday) and Peace Pagoda. In the evening you can spend time taking a stroll in Chowrasta and Mall road. The lights on the streets and the smile of people welcoming you, will give you memories umpteen. At night, head back to the hotel and pack all your belongings as your journey ends tomorrow.
On the last day, check out from the hotel and drive back to NJP Railway Station or Bagdodra Airport. With countless memories and lifetime experience, smile as you travel back home.

On your arrival at NJP Railway station or Bagdodra Airport in Siliguri, our representative will receive you, drive you to Aritar and drop you at the hotel. If you still have some energy after the long journey of travel, you can head out to the streets nearby and take a stroll for leisure. Once you return back to the hotel, fill yourself up with sumptuous dinner and have a goodnight sleep.
The fun begins at Aritar, located at the edge of Himalayas. Popularly known for its rivers, lush forests and mountains.
Start your day with yummy breakfast at the hotel and then head out for sightseeing to the local attractions. This sightseeing will include a visit to popular destinations such as Aritar Monastery, Lampokhri, Parbateswar Shivalaya Mandir, Dak Bungalow, Parbateswar Shivalaya Mandir, Mankhim, and Helipad. Post for some pictures and explore the rich landscape that the place is bestowed with. After the sightseeing expedition is over, our representatives will drive you to Zuluk.

Darjeeling is a paradise for mountain lovers. Located in West Bengal at an elevation of 6,700 feet, this mountain beauty was the summer resort during the British era. While at Darjeeling capture breathtaking views of Mt. Kanchenjunga, take a ride in Toy Train (UNESCO World Heritage Site), stroll through tea gardens, meditate in Buddhist Monasteries and treat your eyes with colonial architecture.
Itinerary
Arrive at the NJP/Bagdogra and our representative will be there to receive you with a warm smile. Then proceed to Kalimpong. Check in at the hotel. Freshen up and relax. Rest of the day is at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel in Kalimpong.
Have an early breakfast, then set out for a half day local sightseeing tour of Kalimpong. It will take around 4 hours. Start with the enchanting Deolo Hill in East Kalimpong. This mesmerizing parkland spreads across 8 acres and boasts of well-trimmed colourful flower gardens and natural beauty. Capture arresting views of Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world from this hill.
Other attractions here are Durpin Dara hill and a valley with a river flowing through it. Head to Deolo Hill to see the Scientific Centre displaying a variety of scientific objects. Then head for the Tibetan monastery Jang Dong Palriffo Brang on the Durpin Hill. It houses several rare scriptures. Next on the list is the Cactus Nursery where you will find a wide variety of exotic flowers.
It is a famous nursery of Kalimpong. Then drive to Gangtok from Kalimpong (2 hours 30-minute). Check in at the hotel at Gangtok. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Begin your journey early morning to visit the high altitude beautiful Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft/3750 m/3 hrs drive). This glacial lake transports its onlookers to a different world where natural beauty is found in abundance.
The lake changes its look in winters when it gets enveloped in snow and in spring when it teems with life as its surrounding gets lively with colourful flowers. It also serves as a temporary home to many bird species. Take a break for breakfast and then head for Baba Mandir which is located at an altitude of 13,200 ft/4000 m. This temple was built to celebrate the bravery and loyalty of an Indian soldier named Baba Harbhajan Singh. As the day draws to a close we will drive you back to Gangtok. Rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Lachung which is nestled at an elevation of 8,800 feet. This traditional village of Sikkim boasts of pristine ecosystem encompassing waterfalls, fruit orchards, streams, and river. On your way to Lachung stop at Singhik View Point and Seven Sisters Waterfalls to enjoy wonderful sights. After that, you can ask the driver to stop for a lunch break. Post lunch, continue your drive to Lachung. Upon reaching there, check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. You can visit Lachung Gompa and check out handicrafts at the handicraft center. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Early morning our representative will drive you to the scintillating Yumthang Valley perched at an elevation of 11,800 feet. Yumthang means the Valley of Flowers. It is one of the celebrated places of Sikkim where natural beauty is found in plenty. It is a typical valley where sights of yaks, goats, and horses grazing on grassy plains is common. Come back to the hotel for lunch after which you will depart for Gangtok. On the way visit Bheema and Twin Waterfalls for an enriching experience. Upon reaching Gangtok, check in at the hotel. Begin your journey of sightseeing early in the morning at around 4 am and reach the bewitching Tiger Hill (2590 m), the highest point in Darjeeling. An optional tour to the Zero Point can be arranged for on request. Set at an altitude of 15,300 feet, it is the last outpost of civilization. The Indo-China border lies few meters ahead and hence no one is allowed to go beyond this point.

Once you arrive at Bagdodra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, our representatives will pick you up and drive you to Phuentsholing (165 km, 4hours drive). The tourist permit and other processes will be completed for you at Phuentsholing. Once that’s done, our representatives will drop you at a hotel in Jaigaon or Phuentsholing for an overnight stay.
On your way to Thimpu, you will get the chance to tour popular destinations and witness beautiful waterfalls.
After a sumptuous breakfast in the hotel, our representatives will pick you up and drive you to Thimphu (approximately 6 hours). This drive to the capital city is one of the best journeys that you will experience. On your way, you will stop for sightseeing of the natural landscape, Chukha Dam and pristine waterfalls. Gangtok is the capital city of Sikkim and has great attractions in its sleeves. Located at an altitude of 5,500 feet, this destination has a lot of things to enchant you. There are several view-points to capture the scenic beauty and the views of Mt. Kangchenjunga, the world’s third highest mountain. Its attractions also encompass waterfalls, forests, landscapes and wonderful culture.
Lachung is a pristine destination in north Sikkim located at an altitude of 9,600 feet at a point where the Lachen River merges with the tributaries of the River Teesta. It is also a base to mesmerizing Yumthang Valley.
Pelling is a sparkling jewel of Sikkim. This lovely hill station wins the hearts of travelers with its age-old monasteries, gushing waterfalls, shimmering lakes and calm and beautiful surroundings.
Darjeeling is a famous hill station located in West Bengal. It offers breathtaking views of Mt. Kangchenjunga. Other attractions of Darjeeling include gorgeous tea gardens, Buddhist monasteries, colonial architecture, trekking routes and natural beauty.
Itinerary
Upon your arrival at the NJP/Bagdogra, our representative will receive you with a warm welcome. He will drive you to Kalimpong. Check in at the hotel. Get refreshed and relax. Rest of the day is at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Post early breakfast, leave for half day local sightseeing of Kalimpong which will take around 4 hours.
Visit Deolo Hill in East Kalimpong. It is a beautiful parkland sprawling across 8 acres and has manicured colourful flower gardens and scenic beauty. It offers attractions such as mesmerizing views of Kanchenjunga, Durpin Dara hill, and a valley with a river passing through it. The Science Centre at the Deolo Hill displays scientific objects. Also, visit Jang Dong Palriffo Brang Monastery on the Durpin Hill. It is a Tibetan monastery with rare scriptures. Then head to the Cactus Nursery where you will find a variety of exotic flowers. It is one of the largest commercial flower nurseries in Kalimpong. After sightseeing drive to Gangtok from Kalimpong (2 hours 30-minute drive). Check in at the hotel at Gangtok. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and set out on a full day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Visit the Ganesh Tok, a highly revered temple located amidst beautiful surroundings. It also offers great views of Kangchenjunga, the world’s third highest mountain.
Visit the Banjhakri waterfall which is a big hit as a picnic spot for the locals. A visit to the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology will give you an insight into the rich heritage of Buddhist culture and Tibetan architecture. Enjoy 1 km long Ropeway (Cable car ride) offering sweeping views of the mountains. Proceed further to explore other attractions of Gangtok – Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Bakthang Waterfalls, Tashi view point, Enchey Monastery, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom and Flower Show.
As the day draws to a close, return to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.
Start early from the hotel to capture the enchanting views of Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft/3750 m/3 hrs drive). En-route you can ask the driver to stop for a quick breakfast. The drive to the Lake is pleasant. It is a high-altitude lake located at an elevation of 12,400 feet. This glacial lake in East Sikkim remains frozen in winters and changes its look during spring when its surroundings bloom with flowers.
It also attracts several bird species. After spending some quality time at the Lake, head to Baba Harbhajan Mandir (13,200 ft/4000 m). As per the legend this mandir was built in honour of an Indian soldier named Baba Harbhajan Singh who sacrificed his life while he was on duty. In the evening our representative will drive you back to the hotel in Gangtok. Remaining day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Post breakfast, leave for Lachung (8800 ft) to experience the real taste of a traditional village of Sikkim. Hemmed in by snow-capped mountains, Lachung offers amazing waterfalls, streams, and orchards where you can just pluck an apple, apricot or peach directly from the tree and relish it. The village has Lachung Chu river that flows through it. En-route Lachung halt at Singhik View Point and Seven Sisters Waterfalls for eye-catching sights. On the way when you feel hungry ask the driver to stop for a lunch break. Post lunch, proceed further. After you have arrived at Lachung check in at the hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure. Check out the locality, visit the Lachung Gompa or buy some souvenirs from the handicraft center. Enjoy dinner at the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Leave early morning from the hotel for Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft) which is the Valley of Flowers. You are bound to get mesmerized by the beauty of this valley. A variety of Rhododendron trees are found here. The sight of yak, horse, and goats grazing on the grassy plains looks like a scene from a Bollywood movie. Have lunch in the hotel at Lachung and then depart to Gangtok. Then proceed to witness the charm of Bheema and Twin Waterfalls which will come on your way to Gangtok. Check in at the hotel in Gangtok. Enjoy an overnight stay here.
Post breakfast, leave for Pelling after breakfast. Check in at the hotel in Pelling. The remaining day is at leisure. The drive from Gangtok to Pelling is picturesque.
Day 8: Pelling full day sightseeing
After breakfast, it’s time to set out on a journey of exploring the attractions of Pelling. This quaint destination is away from the crowd and offers uninterrupted views of Kanchenjunga and is rich in a variety of flora. Relax at the Kanchenjunga waterfalls and then visit Darap Valley to get soaked in sheer natural beauty. After lunch, visit other attractions – Pema Yangtse monastery, Helipad Ground, Rimbi waterfalls, Khecheopalri sacred Lake and Rabdentse Ruins. Drive back to the hotel and stay overnight. After the sightseeing, we will drive you back to the hotel in Pelling. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Post breakfast, leave for Darjeeling. Upon reaching Darjeeling check in at the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can explore the Mall Road where you can enjoy shopping, eating etc. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Start the day early at around 4 am and drive to the famous Tiger hill (2590 m) to capture breathtaking sunrise views. It is the highest point in Darjeeling and is the most famous attraction here. It is a perfect place to treat your eyes with magnificent views of Mt. Kanchenjunga. While coming back from the Hill visit the Batasia Loop, a spiral railway track at a scenic location and Ghoom Monastery. Have breakfast and proceed further to the Japanese Temple known for its architecture. Other attractions on the list are Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park(closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda and Chitrey Tea Garden(outer view). Itinerary
On your arrival at NJP railway station or Bagdogra airport, our representative will receive you and drive you to Gangtok. At Gangtok, you will check in at the hotel and spend some leisure time in the evening strolling in the streets of Gangtok or buying gift items from the famous MG Marg.
Sikkim is home to some of the most beautiful hills, waterfalls and monasteries, explore them all with us.
Start the day with some delicious breakfast and then head out with our representative to explore the beauty of Gangtok. This tour will include a visit to the famous Bakthang Waterfalls, Ganesh Tok, Tashi view-point, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom, Enchey Monastry, Flower Show, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Institute of Tibetology, Ropeway and the beautiful waterfall in Banjhakri. Spend the day experiencing the beauty in this town. Once the tour is done, our representative will take you back to the hotel where you can take rest for the night.
Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir situated up the hill in Gangtok is a must place to visit.
At around 8 in the morning, our representative will be at your hotel and drive you to the beautiful Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet/3750 m/3 hrs drive) and Baba Harbhajan Mandir(13,200 feet/4000 m). Considered holy and scared by many, sit by Tsomgo Lake and spend time admiring the works of nature. After this, you will return to Gangtok by evening and spend the night here.
On day 4, you will leave the city of Gangtok and head to the beautiful valley of Lachen
After a sumptuous, heavy breakfast at the hotel you will drive to Lachen (altitude 8800 feet/ 6 hours). On the way you will visit the beautiful destinations of Seven Sisters Water Falls, Singhik View point, and Naga Water Falls. Do stop on this highway for ‘sikkimese’ lunch. Reach Lachen by evening. After an overnight at Lachen, you will be travelling to your next destination.
On day 5, you will visit three beautiful destinations in Sikkim.
Start the day early with lip-smacking breakfast at the hotel. Then drive to Gurudongmar Lake and spend beautiful time here by the lake amidst the lush green trees. After an unwinding session here, drive through Chopta Valley and Thangu and get back to the Hotel for lunch. After a delicious lunch at the hotel, our representative will take you to a hotel at Lachung. You will spend the night at your hotel. Sip some hot tea and release the stress as you prep yourself for more adventure.
On day 6, you will bid goodbye to the beautiful Lachung and head for an excursion to Yumthang, and Zero Point.
Early Morning before the wee hours, our representative will drive you to Yumthang-valley popularly known as Valley of Flowers. It is the summer grazing ground of the Yaks and in winters, it is a playground of Yetis. After a tour in the Yumthang Valley, you will proceed further to Zero Point and get the chance to explore the beauty of snow-capped mountains here. You will then be travelling back to the hotel for lunch. En-route, you will stop at Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. After lunch, you will then depart back to Gangtok. On your journey back to Gangtok, you will get the chance to witness the beautiful Bheema and Twin Falls. Our representative will drop you at your hotel in Gangtok.
After a hearty breakfast at your hotel in Gangtok, you will drive to Pelling. After checking in at the hotel in Pelling spend the day ‘leisuring’ around the nearby market.
On the 8th day, you will be taken on a tour across the beautiful waterfalls, valleys and Lakes of Pelling.
After some tasty breakfast at the hotel, you will go for local sightseeing in Pelling. The sightseeing will include a visit to Khecheopalri sacred Lake, Kanchenjunga waterfalls, Darap Valley, Rimbi Waterfalls, and Rock Garden. You will then return to the hotel in the evening and spend the night sleeping in your comfortable room.
On day 9, you will bid adieu to Sikkim and head to the beautiful hill station in West Bengal, Darjeeling.
After a tasty, filling breakfast at the hotel, our representatives will drive to Darjeeling. Once you arrive at Darjeeling, check in to your hotel and spend the night in the hotel.
On the 10th day, you will visit the famous places in Darjeeling.
The day will start at 4 in the morning with a drive to the Tiger Hill (2590 m). From here, you will get the chance to witness the spectacular Kanchenjunga. On your way back from here, you will visit Btasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. Leave for Yumthang Valley early morning to capture its beauty at its best. Located at an altitude of (11,800 ft) and it literally means ‘The Valley of Flowers. The drive from Gangtok to Pelling is lovely and takes you through tea gardens, greenery, and mountains. You will be driven to Pelling through Namchi which means ‘top of the sky’. It offers a bird’s eye view of the alluring surroundings. Also, visit Namchi Char Dham which is a sacred place with 108 feet tall statue of Lord Shiva and replicas of 12 Jyotirlingas. Start your day early morning at around 4 am to reach the most famous attraction of Darjeeling, the Tiger Hill. Enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over the Mt. Kanchenjunga.
