Gangtok Darjeeling Dooars Tour

Once you arrive at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, our representative will receive you and drive you to your hotel at Gangtok. Once check in at the hotel is completed, take some rest and freshen up. In the evening step out of the hotel and spend time shopping for gift items and handicraft items at MG Mart. Get back to your hotel at night for a goodnight rest.

Spend the day visiting all the popular tourist destinations in Gangtok

After a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, head out with our representative for a local sightseeing of the town of Gangtok. The sightseeing package of Gangtok will include a visit to Tashi view-point, Bakthang Waterfalls, Ganesh Tok, Enchey Monastry, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Flower Show, Institute of Tibetology, Ropeway and Banjhakri Falls. Once the tour across the town is completed, our representative will drive you back at the hotel.

On the 3rd day of the tour, you will get the chance to visit the sacred lake and the famous temple located on the top of the hill.

At around 8 in the morning, our representative will drive you to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet/3750 m/3 hrs drive). Popularly known as a sacred lake, Tsomgo Lake is of religious importance to the residents of Gangtok. After a serene time of unwinding in Tsomgo Lake, you will visit Baba Harbhajan Mandir (13,200 feet/4000 m).  An additional tour to Nathula Pass can be arranged on this day, contact our representative to make this happen.

After filling your stomach with some authentic delicacies for breakfast, our representative will drive you to Darjeeling. On your arrival at Darjeeling, check in at the hotel and spend the night leisurely at the hotel.

On Day 5, you will get the chance to visit the beautiful destinations that Darjeeling is adorned with.

Start the day early at 4 am. Our representative will drive you to Tiger Hill (2590 m) to witness the scenic view and spectacular sunrise of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Kanchenjunga is the world’s 3rd highest peak. On the way back from here, you will visit the Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastry. Our representative will then you drive you back at the hotel, indulge in some delicious breakfast and then head out to visit Padmaja Naidu Park (closed on Thursday), Chitrey Tea Garden (outer view), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda and Japanese Temple. In the evening take a stroll at Chowrasta and Mall Road. Do get your hands on the lip smacking momo and noodles in the streets of Chowrasta.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Our representative will drive to Jaldapara National Park. Once you reach Jaldapara, check in at the hotel and spend the night taking rest as the next day has adventures umpteen.

Wake up early in the morning and head with our representative for a Jeep Safari at Jaldapara National Park, During the jeep safari, you will get the chance to spot wild animals such as tigers, deer, bears and more… After sightseeing of the National Park, drive back to the hotel for a goodnight sleep.

Well the beautiful trip ends on Day 8. Check out from the hotel and drive back with our representative to NJP railway station or Bagdodra airport. With beautiful memories and couple of gifts for your loved ones, head back home.
